The high temperature for Dallas today is expected to be right around 100 degrees. That’s pretty hot, especially for football players starting fall practice. But it could certainly be worse. Last year the high temperature on the first day of practice was 104. In 2011, it was 105.
Those temperatures are from the first Monday when all 4A and 5A teams could practice. (3A and smaller, as well as 4A and 5A schools that didn’t have spring practice, can start a week earlier).
